The Differences Between English and Cobalt
Cobalt is an imperative language that reads like English. Smalltalk was also designed to read very, very similarly to English. Basic stands for Beginners all purpose symbolic instruction code. The goal of Alan Kay was to have a language that would be easy to read without much knowledge of programming languages.
