The orion d star forming region in sky is basically n the entire orian constellation. It's one of the best places to study star formation. The 30 meter telescope, which was one of the last big things we covered at the american astronomical society meeting back in 20 20 m it's still not going anywherrere. Maybe it's got to happen on in the canary islands.
