As you grow in your career, I think it's actually really fun and very fulfilling to seek out opportunities where you can put yourself in situations that are totally new to you. It takes a little bit of practice to be comfortable speaking to a board of directors and then also engaging with them when they ask you questions. And just just learning how to be not scared of talking to people like that is itself an entirely new skill. But I got to tell you, like Jameson said, if your technical skills can't back any of that up, it really won't matter how good you are.
