How to Identify in a Different Christian Context
I don't give a huge amount of thought really to how I sort of identify myself, but I don't think it would include the word evangelical. Some people still like to hold on to the evangelical thing because if they do really love the Bible and the Bible is deeply central to their faith. It frustrates me sometimes that if you say we need evangelical, that means that you love the Bible, whereas everybody else doesn't. That's some of the... perhaps that's what I picked up along the way, but... Yeah, I mean, there's just too much emphasis on the Bible. And that can't support a healthy faith journey.
