Are You in a Valley?

Life is created when our desire for something leads us to act in the world in a certain way, and that that action is met with unexpected reaction. Most of life feels like being in the valley where there's conflict, where theres may be despair. Here in mark's gospel, as in any good story, valleys are not just valleys. Valleys are crucibles. They're what make life interesting. Conflict is actly what makes life interesting - typically valleys are the place of struggle and conflict. This is the place where things grow and things change and struggle happen.
