These four oil workers eventually climb up the ridge of the craft and they began to look for a way inside. They see two small bodies slumped over a control panel soon after this some local ranchers by the names of Mr. and Mrs. Knight arrive on scene. According to again these eyewitness accounts in the books from scott and Susan Ramsey somehow this guy activates something on the control panel that opens the entry hatch on the bottom of the craft talk about a shocker right right yeah. This is one of the rare occasions where civilians actually reach the crash site before the military does, says historian Michael Schratte.
