Is There a Fascism in the United States?

Before the wars, there was a fascist movement within the United States. It didn't evaporate after Pearl Harbor; many people committed at least partially to the war effort. The idea that some of the hostilities and somefascist sympathies that Americans felt dissolved is really not the case. And you can see it, and these are the sorts of compromising details that the myth omits. These are not the sensibilities we normally associate with the forces of liberation.
