The Left Hemisphere's Narrative System Explains Behavior
In most people languages, the left side of the brain can talk about it. The right hemisphere is able to detect that stimulus. We propose that one of the systems that might be generating kind of non-conscious states or non-conscious behaviors might be emotional systems so that you might have a system that detects danger and causes you to respond. And then you consciously are aware that that's happening and you generate a narrative to explain why you've done that.
