The Blackout on Reddit

Reddit has an overall content policy and moderator code of conduct that sets standards for like, these are the definite things you absolutely cannot post. But otherwise, it largely leaves decisions of what types of posts can go up up to individual communities. And so in pissing off these moderators who do a lot of that, that content moderation for free, they are unpaid volunteers. You risk that not only these individual communities being really shaken up. That might be that might change too, depending on how mods respond to this.
