The Importance of Pattern Matching in Programming

I think he kind of understands because he's been looking at Elixir code recently and doing some PR reviews. He actually used to work with OCaml, I believe it was quite a while back. And so he knows about pattern matching and stuff, right? So some of the ideas already caught on to him. It's quite interesting to see somebody struggling with this in terms of how and then when they finally get it, it's good.
