The Future of Finance in Sub-Saharan Africa
Solar and wind technologies up to a point are becoming cost-competitive with coal. However, the complete transformation of the electricity system would involve significantly more renewables. There's going to have to be some kind of government intervention to underwrite private finance if at all or some sort of broader scheme for government cooperation.
