PCA: A Neurodegenerative Syndrome

PCA is a neurodegenerative syndrome primarily affecting occipital parietal lobes. Most commonly caused by Alzheimer's disease pathology but it's not exclusive to AD. Multiple pathologies can cause the syndrome but those pathologies will be posterior in the brain. It's usually early onset in terms of these later syndromes. So maybe between ages 50 and 65, which fits with your patient.
