What Kind of an Influence Did Christopher Bailey Have on You?
Yoreso: I wanted to return to some of my most long held beliefs about indian life. There was a common concern that indian history had kind of saturated into a very strange set of debates, particularly around ten, 15 years ago. So i really don't belong to the so called cambridge school of indian history,. nor am i a bailey student. But what there was akind of commonality or was the idea that actually would invarially be is an intellectual history and accounting of its own political ideas.
