Introduction

This is a reading of a cycle of lectures by rudolf steiner entitled a modern art of education. This is lecture five, entitled freeing volition in the human organism given on august ninth, 19 23. Yesterday i tried to describe the way thinking becomes independent around the seventh year and feeling around the fourteenth year. To day, i want to show how volition gradually presses on toward independence.
