Airbnb has more than 7 million listings as of the spring of 2021 in more than 200 countries, and they have more than 150 million active users. Airbnb doesn't reside on third-party booking platforms, which most hotels do. Their gross booking value was exceptional at the peak of about $38 billion in revenue booked through the Airbnb platform.
