Gifted kids tend to reject help because their cognitive bias is so strong. This can be further reinforced by your ability to predict in situations. The very thing that is capable of ging your mind is the thing that you retreat from if you're a gifted kid. Sometimes what gifted kids will do is they'll find solace in being both blessed and cursed. And alas, it is a tragedy.
