What Does Current Gun Control Look Like in Canada?
A lot of Canadians don't know a huge amount about firearms and gun policy. What they know is usually largely influenced by what they see in the American media or reports on what's going on in the United States. In Canada, we have a strict gun licensing system. There's an automatic 28 day waiting period. The police know exactly where you live so they can come and get your firearms. You also have to have a valid reason for applying for a gun license in Canada.
