Joe: I was thinking about my own golf career and how I would practice practice practice practice this is a case study of one here Joe. There's just something about holding a golf club in my head that still felt uncomfortable to me but Rory McElroy had so much more flexibility there for him he would get better quicker as a consequence of all the practice put in. He says Kenyan distance running from small town in Iten where so many in Kenya where so many champions have come through has made him think of both practice and genetic propensity. The jury remains out on whether or not genes are involved with success, although it seems like they may be playing a role at key stages of their development.
