The Future of Personality State Taxonomies
Do you think eventually it will be the case that we can use the same models for describing personality states as we do for personality traits? I think it's at least a question that is currently very much discussed and I also see it coming up a lot in reviews for example. So far we just don't know I think that would be my first response to this but it's an open question. However, I'm not really sure what is the best approach however you cannot assess personality states using personality trait data even if it's like longitudinal assessments of personality traits.
