The Media Playbook for the Death of a Black Man or Woman

Eric Adams the mayor said for the media to refrain from talking about it and I'm wondering why. Why would we not talk about what appears to be an extreme injustice and murder that happened in a very public way? Did he explain why he doesn't want us to talk about it? Because not talking about it protects who. What was done here was completely unnecessary especially if this gentleman was suffering from mental illness.
