Despite everything you've said, is it not that it is still western technology that leads the world? It is still western culture that young people want to buy into. I thinkwe shouldn't assume western elits are more benevolent than historic alits. i would be cautious when thinking about technology. Yes, china can copy everything, and has been copying everything. But o really, if all we're getting as like a two or four or five year advantage, like the chinese thet's say, perpetually five years behind us, i don't think that's enough of an advantage.
