Handwriting expert sherwood marill examined letters. On the three notes sent to sherryjo's father, riverside p d and the local newspaper, he concluded there was a high probability that it matched the handwriting of the zodiac killer. Following sherry joe's murder, a disturbing poem had been found scratched into a desk at her college library which was believed to have been written by her killer.
