The Importance of Maximum Probability in FIML
FIML methods can be applied to discrete measures and we can use robust standard errors. The same kinds of assumptions that are invoked by maximum likelihood with sufficient sample size or asymptotic properties kick in. I actually completely plagiarize part of his chapter in my own teaching because he thinks that the clarity of it is so nice. It really is a workhorse.
