The Second Generation's Interpretation of Jesus

In the second generation, only Mark makes a program out of the announcement. He says, I'm going to have the first crack at it. Matthew and Luke take him over because they want his material but they either omit or rework his key phrase. So in this scheme, in John's scheme, there's absolutely no room for use for Paul's announcement of the imminent return of Christ that's just not happening.
