Is It Disruptive for Your Identity?

I was 68 when i found out im and i never had the slightest suspicion i even anyway. My biological father was a hundred% ashnazi jewish, so i'm 50 % ashknazi jewish. It was very affirming of an intuitive sense i had always had, and of that sense of difference Iad as a child. But on the other hand, it was very painful to find out that all my siblings, who iam very, very close to, were only half siblings biologically.
