The NAC's Power and Mandat to Hold Public Hearings
There is no doubt that what we do have is a powerful NAC, an independent one, with extensive powers. There is some controversy over whether it should have been given more power to hold public hearings. I'm fairly confident given on what we know of Breart not only in this role, but in his role as investigating war crimes in Afghanistan by Australian troops That we have a man of integrity and courage.
