A more liberal camp that emphasizes individual autonomy and a more conservative one that emphasizes communal norms. Do you think authoritarianism in some sense is found in the liberal jewish world because of the literacy gap? Or how would you think about authority as different in the world of liberal judaism versus conservative religion?
