The Importance of General Principles in the Life of the Church

I remember you saying in some conversation that you felt like one instructor is the way he talked about the Bible in general you went along with, but when he talked about this issue, he sounded different. It's like you sound different here than you sound everywhere else. Yeah. And my sense is to trace the history kind of into the present. He would use more language about justice and indignation. His tone would get shriller and his biblical evidence slider and that which he positivity. I'm letting general principles guide me less the exegesis. But it's always a kind of inductive, deductive spiral, how you understand what the truth is.
