The Importance of Monads in Zio

We've been using Zio writing a book about effect stuff, Bruce and I are from Bill. We started with just regular Zio and then maybe a couple months ago we're like Zio Direct looks really interesting. For the audience of our book we're assuming that they maybe don't want to learn monads and do everything through flat maps and all that. So we started using Zio Direct which gives you that direct procedural look to Zio code. It's great that it's there but for a lot of uses maybe we don't have to expose people to that level. The most interesting stuff is taking a write up program that I can actually read.
