Is There a Great Strength of Canes?
He was someone who seems like he woke up every morning trying to make a difference. He had a philosophy about something that's always been very important to me, the idea of engaged intellectualism. Canes famously wrote that it was ideas, more than anything else, that made a difference. And so it was that commitment to engaged intellectualism that was, i believe, a great strength of canes.
