"I like that idea because one of the complaints many people have about performance reviews is that they feel totally subjective and opinion based. And if she's able to distil her performance into measurable objectives, where you can all either agree objectively she completed this or she didn't, at the end of the year, that could take this perception of subjectivity out of a a little bit," he says. "We should assure her that a lot of senior executives need coaching when they go from working in a smolk saloon overseeing 20 people, to a larger company with 50 people."
