Chemical Reactions - Can You Get More Complex Molecules?
In interstellar space, there are molecules that can be quite big and that are formed in very different ways. The molecules are formed in chemical reactions on the earth. And one of things that was done in the 19 fifties was to ask the question if you just pour random chemicals together and just heat em up a bit and stir em around, can you start getting more complicated molecules? You know, one wouldn't expect a whole giant deana molecule, you know, six billion base pairs like we have to be stort of, to come out of just stirring things around for a few minutes. But indeed, that was exactly what was discovered.
