Southwest Wants as Little Pilot Training as Possible for the Jump From the Ng to the Max

The lawsuit is alleging that the sole purpose of this installation would be to say that the alert was not new on the max, and therefore wouldn't trigger additional pilot training. It's partially sealed, so we don't know yet if this was ever acted upon. But it does offer a window into the fact that southwest vigorously disputes the plaintiff's characterization of the facts in this lawsuit.
