Is the Pendulum Swinging Toward a More Extreme Version of That?
There's already a natural kind of individualism within the religious DNA of America. So is this kind of the, the pendulum swinging towards a more extreme version of that perhaps? Absolutely and I do, I do think that our cultural mistrust of religious authority or any authority along with a sense that the best way to God or to, is, is a kind of personal relationship. Those things can be very theologically fruitful up to a point butI do think that we are so unmoored from any, any robust sense of who God is. There's just in the absence of anything concrete to point to or even let's say a wealth ofcrete things to point to.
