The Mocenes by Testa Hadley
I thought the mocenes set in labrock grove in the late 19 sixties were really excellent. So a reader who's used to reading testa hadley, would go to her novels and say, ah, well, she can do this suburban thing, buti, i'm saying she can do the labrook grove thing as well. I just thought it. It's a wonderful, wonderful novel. Anyway, im goin to read a little bit now, from a chapter where phyllis has dropped out, left home, moved into her lover's flat in labrookGrove.
