The female half of the couple did it. She couldn't find her crystal one night, assumed the guy had smoked it up so she legitimately tried to kill him. Then there was this time I was totally out of luck, and was going through withdrawals on a park bench down in Van Nuys. The only thing that was getting me through was being able to see this lit up window across the street. That was what looked like a new mom or a nanny with his tiny baby in her arms. For a few short moments, it made me forget how much I wanted to die.
