The Filthiest Thing in the Universe?

Jesus was the scapegoat, sent into the wilderness bearing our guilt on his head. Moses hade bring a lamb each year as a saa, substitutionary sacrifice, to atone for their sin. Jesus gave himself as that substitutionary lamb, whose blood, once and for all, satisfied the penalty against our sin. Unlike moses, jesus blood actually cleanses us so that we can be safe again in god's presence. There is a fountain filled with blood drawn from emmanuel's veins. Sinners plunge beneath that flood lose all their guilty stain. Most importantly, unlike moses, this new prophet never grows weary with us, and he never falters in obedience.
