The problem with the argument of hey mr billionaire why don't you focus on the problem at home is that it's not none of their business. Why wouldn't we reward somebody for trying to solve any problem oh well no one person can solve every problem I think that applies to follow their interests that applies to musk but what about when you're talking about a publicly funded NASA program or something like that? "My dollars are not going to solve problems that serve me but serve some martian species"
