The French Are Thinking, What if We Could Get Gunboats on the Upper Nile?

The french want to force the british out of egypt. They're thinking a colonial outpost on the upper nile. This is all going back to napoleon's ation of egypt in 17 98, if not further. And this has many british officials well, i guess the te giant damn in asan. Is that dam right? Yes. The british started that in 18 98, and i guess eventually, sovereign egypt completed it in the sixties or something.
