The Tax of Cigarettes
The state of Utah is the only seller of liquor. Once a tax gets high enough, it becomes indistinguishable from a banned item. It's reminding me Pennsylvania a few years ago did something like that with vaping and cigars. The power that cigar smokers bring to the political process dwarfs anything that vapors bring.
