The Democratic Bench: Governors of Southern States
If you're going to run in the South, you've got to be a little bit or pretend to be conservative on some social issues. That's a lot harder today than it used to be. It used to before the party got moved more to the left. I can name two members of the Democratic bench and they fit exactly the profile that Rob just outlined. John Bell Edwards is pro-life. So they rule him out. There's another one. He's too young, but keep an eye on him. there's more.
