Scientists found that you had limited amidula activation in your brain, at least in response to t e sort of ordinary stimuli. You've trained your brain to not detect a threat in a life and death situation or at least not to respond as as quickly and intensely as most people would. So if they see a picture of a spider, it triggers the same thing as if there was a spider there. It seems perfectly natural that my migdalo wouldn't trigger while looking at pictures while laying in a safe metal tube.
