Iceland was on the rise economically and they were doing well. But this is where you see that elite class start to pull away and it gets wild. It's also the only place I've ever seen walking around that people put a trampoline above their garage with no safety net. That's called good health care. So in the early 90s, the state played a fundamental role in the central planning of major spheres of the economy, culture and morality.
