The Importance of Putting on a Professional Uniform
"The army and the Marine Corps absolutely judge people on how they look," he says. "If you can't put on a uniform, if you can't complete this simple task of putting on a uniform correctly, how can I expect you to operate effectively out on the battlefield?" The SEAL teams have a very bad reputation for wearing mismatched uniforms or beards, jeans and shirts that are too short in some cases. A platoon commander who worked with him smuggled patches overseas after being told not to do so by his commanding officer.
