The SDLP's Challenge in Local Government Elections

The SDLP is clearly losing in that battle within nationalism. Sinn Fein is obviously now knocking on the door of potentially being the largest party within local government. And so therefore it's very difficult for the SDLP to battle against that. I don't think SDLP is looking for any potential gains in this election. They're not putting up very many other candidates. Really this is an election where the SDLP have to hold what they currently have.
