The Next Tory Leader Is Going to Fail Theyr

The next person coming into office as prime minister and the leader of the conservative party is really almost being set up to fail. Whoever is put in the leadership position right now is going to almost immediately become a bit of a lame duck, because the tory party are scheduled to go into general election in january 20 25 at the very latest. And they're holding an 80 seat majority that is almost certain to at least stantially contract. Even if they could scrape out another majority, it would be a much weaker one than the one that they elected in 20 19 with boris johnson as the party leader.
