I'm still struggling with what happened to me a year ago you know. It was way worse than anything that happened in combat for me because I thought it was safe and my children were there. My wife almost saw this and the guy who attends palliative care said that people are dying towards the ends they're not scared of them but they have anticipatory grief about their loved ones' absence. The mortality element hit you in a different way than being embedded in a place where you'd already kind of signed signed a mental agreement that there was going to be danger. In Restrepo when you were deployed there was an acceptance already of you know there's there's the risk we're expecting
