The Problem With the Head of State Office
The notion of head of hereditary office should be anathema to modern day Australia. It's certainly not meritocratic, it is also a hereditary office of a British family and I think that's problematic. We don't choose who our head of state is. And just as we don't choose our family members, in fact, often we wish we have different family members.
