What's the Best Practice for Authentication?

Oapi security project is actually going through an up date this year. I'm not sure if it'll be published this year, but that's begun to up date it further. You see some similarities with like injection attacks and broken authentication and logging,. But there are some that are specific. Well, about half that are prol specific to api soli, improper assets management and mass assignment. And the authorization issues on both sides - i think defense and depth and taking it as a holistic approach.
