Sarah Kay: Half Japanese and Half Brooklynies

Sarah Kay grew up in New York City, the daughter of an artist, mother and a photographer father. While she was still a high school student, she founded Project V-O-I-C-E,. She now runs it with her friend and fellow poet Phil Kay.
